Grooving To Music Encourages Creativity in Kids


Project Dance, developed in collaboration with the Durham Parks and Recreation Department in 1998, is designed to expose youths to various styles of dance and music. Children can make up their own dance moves, making dance fun and creative. Dance moves seem to be expressing each child's personality and helps students work together with other children to create unique dances. Who knew that grooving to music could help with learning about life and self-identity?
