Will the Olympics Help Languages?
According to Talking World Class, the report found that the UK is last out of 28 countries for its people's ability to speak another language. With the 2012 Olympics in London, this may be the motivation factor in bringing in some international languages into the country. Learning many languages is one of the first ways people can appreciate a certain culture so hopefully the Olympics may not only inspire people in London to learn more languages, but the rest of the world should follow too.
